Since its foundation, APA-Kandt GmbH has focussed on Eastern Europe, which over the years has also extended to the CIS states. Before the start of the Russion invasion of Ukraine, sales generated in Russia accounted for almost 40% of the company´s total sales.

In response to the Russian war of aggression, we decided in spring 2022 to withdraw completely from the Russian market. The efforts we subsequently made to further develop our business in the remaining and new markets were not sufficiently successful due to the ongoing economic weakness in Europe.

Against this backdrop, our shareholder has decided to discontinue the business operations of APA-Kandt GmbH and to liquidate the company as of 1 August 2024.

We will of course fulfil our obligations from all existing supply and service contracts even during the liquidation of the company and will continue to be available for you in the comping months. We will continue to accept orders until 15 August 2024.

We would also like to inform you that our sales representatives have expressed their interest in continuing the business directly with you on an independent basis.

We would therefore appreciate it if you would enter into discussions with the sales representative already known to you in this regard.
